Where most kids take used toilet rolls and fashion them into poorly functioning telescopes, Tim, instead, crafted himself a camcorder. And though his cardboard creation was as useless as its telescopic brethren, the boy behind the toilet roll was anything but.
In the years between these early forays into film and his professional directing debut, Tim travelled the world as an ad man working for Saatchi & Saatchi in London and DDB in Melbourne.
He's built a name for himself as a creative director and gifted storyteller, a reputation that’s continued to grow and earn him various awards and festival-nods from Cannes (twice for the The Young Director Award) to Tropfest (it's big downunder). He's worked on brands such as Budweiser, Bud Light, Levis, Jordan, Farmers Insurance and Intel to name a few.
Tim is now living his childhood dream and loving every minute of it.
Anna's independent feature WALTER was released in 2015 and stars Andrew J. West (The Walking Dead), William H. Macy, Virginia Madsen, Jim Gaffigan, Neve Campbell, Justin Kirk, Milo Ventimiglia and Leven Rambin.
The LA Times said Walter is "Lovely and touching...Director Anna Mastro coaxes a sympathetic performance from West."
The New York Daily News said the film is "Crisply directed."
Anna's crisp directing work has also extended into award winning music videos for artists such as Train, DJ Havana Brown, Leona Lewis and her commercial work has featured brands such as Mastercard, Nascar and Nickelodean Kids to name a few.
Ryan began his commercial filmmaking career as an award-winning editor at CP+B. Here he worked on brands such Best Buy, Kraft, Bud Light, and Red Bull to name a few.
After realizing the need for more sunlight, Ryan burst onto the directing scene with campaigns for Cadillac, Infiniti, NBA2K and Hotels.com. His style couples raw, striking cinematography with honest, human performances and has been awarded at Cannes, the Shorty Awards, and will soon be recognized by D&AD, CLIOS, AICP, and One Show (he considers himself psychic but some simply call it optimism)
When he's not reading his own palm for future award shows, he can be found searching for the best ramen in East LA.
Matthew began writing and making films at the age of twelve after his mother showed him Fargo for the first time. While he may have been too young for that infamous wood chipper scene, he was not too young to have his mind blown by visual storytelling.
Since then, he has worked on projects big and small, including award-winning documentaries, short films, music videos, and commercials for brands ranging from Levi’s to The Boys and Girls Club. Recently honored as a featured filmmaker in Saatchi and Saatchi’s 2017 New Directors Showcase, Matthew loves what he does and regularly thanks his mom for putting Fargo into the VCR that day 15 years ago.
Thoroughly enjoying the creative process and a true collaborator, Nicholas is an award winning filmmaker who loves to work with actors and in the world of shifting budgets, timelines and deliverables protect the intent of the idea.
He's collaborated on brands such as Sprite, Nissan, Isuzu Trucks, Cadbury, Herbel Essences and Metamucil to name few. When he's not making adland laugh he focuses in on narrative shorts to scratch his writer/director itch and is currently working on his debut feature.
His favorite film is The Notebook, but he'll tell you it's Raging Bull.
